Our Tribes. #SoulfulSundays

We meet the people we need in our life.

It’s a realisation that’s found its way into my heart, finally. It might be age, or the maturity that comes with age; it might be life and the hurdles I had to cross; or, it might be the experience I have had with people.

I think, it’s life that has brought these people to me, for me to feel less alone, less bewildered with life and its uncanny ways, and to discover things about myself I was unaware about!

People, who understand. Who listen without judging, lend their shoulders to cry on, remind me, gently, about why and how I need to pick myself up, and keep going towards my goal–the goal of being happy, happy with myself and happy with the Universe.

People, whom I may not meet personally, but who I know are there when I need them. Need them to listen to me, to laugh with me, to cry with me, to reprimand me when I err, and to ensure I stay on track.

Isn’t it surprising how we attract just this kind of people–the kind we need, and not the kind we want?

  1. Yes, of course! We attract those we need. Even when we feel lonely and upset life has its own mysterious ways to bring us close to the people we need. I am grateful for my little tribe. ❤

  2. I love what you said about his tribe—
“we attract just this kind of people–the kind we need, and not the kind we want?”.

They are our lifeline, aren’t they? What would we do without them? I believe we each need this tribe as much as the tribe needs us. Because we ARE the tribe to them as much. Isn’t it amazing how we can connect that way?

    1. Hi Ruchi,
All you need to do is, at 7 pm on a Sunday, just sit down to write. Time yourself for 10 minutes. before that, you might also like to listen to a 10-minute meditation audio on YouTube, or any other you may know, followed by 10 minutes of free writing. That’s all. And, once done, tag either Esha, Vinitha or me, and share the post. Simple 🙂 We would love to have you join us. ❤

I am remembering how I was introduced to Reiki through a chance chat with a friend and it was something that I needed at that time…. Universe and its mysterious ways!!
